I was hired by director Roger Benington in 2008 to score his production of Ostrovsky's A FAMILY AFFAIR at the University of Rochester.
He requested material ranging from hyper-pop (à la Gwen Stefani) to synth-freak club beats to wandering drunken elevator music to melodramatic orchestral dirges... here's what I came up with...
1. Lapotchka (style: bitchy house)
2. Lazar (style: drum n' bass n' schadenfreude)
3. Rispoloshensky (style: wandering drunk elevator)
4. Bolshov's exit to Siberia (style: melodramatic orchestral)
